Vietnamese brands and clothing stores in Ho Chi Minh City are introducing new collections for young customers this summer.
The designs for Kim, a brand owned by Phuc Tran designers, combine the simplicity and practicality displayed at their stores in District 3.
This brand has brought a new collection called My Summer for boys and girls aged 10 to 14, using pastel, neon, black and white tones of cotton, linen and denim.
With more than 40 designs this summer, Kim items are sold for $ 200,000 ($ 9) to $ 500,000 ($ 22).
The limited designs for children under the age of 12 are owned by Kelly Bui Kids, owned by the female designer Bui Minh Trang.
Sold at stores in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, these designs bring the characteristics of Hollywood cartoon characters.
The clothes are designed on high quality materials such as lace, silk and taffeta, and with Ninja Turtle print.
The ollection comes with accessories such as belts, sunglasses, gloves and socks.
Other fashion shops have also improved the quality of their goods. Silk and Rabity also offers highly functional fashion collections for boys and girls.
While the popular clothes line of Phuong Nguyen Silk cost from 200,000 VND (9 USD), customers of Rabity will have to pay from 300,000 to 1.2 million VND (25 – 100 USD) for a product. In the collection called Summer Garden, Rabity uses silk and satin to highlight the innocence of children with white and cream. Phuong Nguyen Silk uses cotton, khaki and embroidery with hot colors such as pearl green and lemon green to bring out the collection with a trend of simple style and premium quality.
